Engineered for a nominal post size of 4×4, this elevated post base features a heavy-duty 12-gauge base plate and a sturdy 8-inch pipe for superior stability. Its adjustable standoff, delivering the necessary 1-inch clearance when installed correctly, also allows for an added height of up to 2-1/2 inches above concrete, making it versatile for various installation needs. While particularly effective in supported applications, it is important to note that it is not recommended for use with non top-supported structures. Installation is straightforward in wet concrete, ensuring a reliable foundation for your outdoor projects.
Description
Post and column bases secure the bottom of posts or columns to concrete and are perfect for decks or patio covers. Models are available for attaching to existing hardened concrete, wet concrete, as well as wood. The cast-in-place EPB series provides a secure connection to the concrete and the code-required 1 in. standoff to help prevent rot at the post end.
