Constructed from durable 12-gauge steel and featuring ZMAX galvanization, this joist tie is engineered to provide exceptional corrosion resistance, making it ideal for both exterior and treated-wood projects. Please note that when using this product, care should be taken to center the dowel in the beam, as excessive shrinkage of wood may lead to splitting along the grain.

The CJTZ® is a concealed connector. It can be installed three ways: with no routing of header/post or beam, a routed header/post or a routed beam. It is part of a concealed connector system that includes the CPTZ and CBTZ.
